According to party sources, the whole idea behind this programme is to activate the party cadre before the Assembly election, which is due by the end of November.
State level party functionaries have been asked to tour various parts of the State to mobilise support for these dharnas and rallies. Earlier in the week, Mukul Vasnik, AICC general secretary and in charge of Rajasthan toured the State for three days. He addressed meetings of party workers, during his tour, to impress upon them that instead of indulging in factional fights, they should work untidily to give a fight to the BJP, whose graph as ruling party in the State, was at its lowest.
