Aiming to become tech savvy, the Uttarakhand Congress has launched an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Cell. Over the next few days the party plans to start a website and a blog as a beginning of the project.
"To begin with we will be launching a blog where our leadership will be posting their programmes, schedules and plans. The blog will encourage the readers, be it the Congress workers or the common people to give their suggestions and responses to the writers," said senior party leader Suryakant Dhasmana.
Anil Jaggi, President of the ICT Cell, who is a known technology expert associated with various projects of the Human Resource Development Ministry, said that they had chosen ICT as they wanted to go a step beyond IT.
